I WILL SET NOTHING WICKED BEFORE MY EYES
REGINA FINWICK;

REGINA FENWICK

Basics.
SHES GOT AN APPETITE THAT WON'T STOP

NAME: Regina Persephone Fenwick
AGE/BIRTHDAY: 26. September 4th 1954
BLOOD STATUS: Half Blood
OCCUPATION: Improper Use of Magic Office Coordinator for Missions Abroad

Family / Relationships.
SHES THE PERFECT GIRL FOR ANY OCASSION

FAMILY
Parents: Liam Fenwick & Roxelana Fenwick (nee: Stefanoff)
Blood Siblings: Benjy Adonis Fenwick

SEXUALITY: Homosexual
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: Alejandro (her imaginary boyfriend).
CHILDREN: None. EVER.

Politics.
USE TO THINK THAT SHE WAS INNOCENT.

LOYALTY/ALLIANCE: The Ministry of Magic

ROLE IN THE WAR: Because of (a) how talented she is at her job and (b) her dedication and esteem for the Ministry, Regina is going to be assignment by the Ministry to tag along with the dispatched Aurors and Hit Witches/Wizards in order to minimize the damage done to muggle awareness of magic in the case that any magic is performed in front of muggles and generally attempt to preserve the discretion of the ministry and the wizarding world. In addition she's also been assigned the task of sending regular reports back to the ministry and has been promised prime consideration for promotion to the office of Junior Assistant to the Minister for Magic if she proves her capabilities.

POLITICAL VIEWS: Regina has no particular prejudices against muggleborns or muggles. That being said, despite her the sentiments to the exact opposite in her early childhood, muggle life is most definitely not for her and she fully understands and approves of the necessity of keeping a distinction between the wizarding world and the muggle world. Basically, her views very much reflect those held by the Ministry of Magic at large. She has full faith in the regulations and standards already in place and is opposed to alteration on either extremist side of the spectrum. She is somewhat leery of creatures like vampires or werewolves and acknowledges them as potentially far more dangerous and in need of some diligent regulation and/or registration.

Appearance.
  SHES SUPERSONIC
AND HER EYES ARE SO HYPNOTIC.

APPEARANCE: Regina could be considered attractive, but she’s more cute as a fucking button than anything. Her face is a soft, round shape which comes to a slight point at her chin, without much indication of high cheekbones or a strong jaw line. With a round button nose which is centered perfectly on her face, Regina can often give off a childish façade which is young for her age. However what her face lacks in natural august, she makes up for with her sober expressions and talent for long, reproving stares. Her coloring is dark, from her healthy olive complexion to the thick brown hair that hangs over her shoulders. Though really the description should be 'impossibly thick' and naturally curling besides. Never one to skimp on the details, Regina devotes hours daily to straightening her hair into immaculate order. The sleek texture and perfect arrangement of those cinnamon locks is in no way incidental. Below a wide forehead, sit a pair of dark chestnut brown eyes, often doused in smokey eyeliner.

She has the type of body type that tends to fluctuate. She stands at a height of five feet and four inches, a bit on the short side, which certainly does not help her deviated body type. One could call her figure 'delicate'. Not in the permanent sense, but in the way that in order to keep herself on the thin line between 'curvy' and 'full' Regina must be mindful of her dietary patterns. That extra slice of pie could very well tip her over the divide, as her metabolism is prone to erraticism, much to her continual irritation. She is never ever, however, waifishly skinny. In fact, Regina has bust! hips! and my oh my is that a bit of junk in the trunk we see?

When one first sets sight on Regina, however, it is not her perfectly styled hair or her admirable rump that is the initial thing to catch the eye. Rather it's her wardrobe. With a sense of style that seems to fly in the face of her personality, Regina can at any time be described with the word 'bright'. A fashionista and lover of vibrancy, her sense of style could possibly be described as modern Mary Quant. Dressing up is a daily affair. Accessories such as showy jewelry, stockings, and unique hair ornaments brighten up her wardrobe. Put simply, the obsessively devoted Ministry official’s attire is consistently louder than a howler and reflects a complete immunity to aesthetic vulgarity. Her sense of fashion is like sequins, occupying that shady gray area between gaudy and classy. Regina also happens to have a love of coats, especially ones of brilliant, attention grabbing pigment yet sophisticated in design, such as a boldly colored pea coat. Her wardrobe is dominated by emphatic shades--mustard yellow, lime green, fuscia, baby blue, are all among some of her favorites.

Personality.
AND ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME TILL
SHE STARTS TO PLAY WITH YOUR MIND.

WAND: 8 3/4, Vinewood, Phoenix Tail Feather, Flexible
Vinewood is flexible, which one might think would denote a yielding wood. However, it tends to be extremely erratic, and it is a strong wizard or witch who overcomes the insecurities the wood holds to become successful with it. Phoenix tail feather is a popular wand core due to its versatility and power. Its main strength lies in Defense Against the Dark Arts, although its adaptability can wrench it to hexes and jinxes if need be. As with the dragon heartstring core, the phoenix core is common amongst Light Wizards, but its users are not necessarily Light Wizards. This core may specifically impede Dark spells, so it is not common amongst Slytherins. However, it is by far the most common Gryffindor wand core, and is not unusual amongst Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs.

BOGGART: Post-Apocalyptic London, a city lawless and in ruins
Regina's ultimate fear is the destruction and eradication of order. The complete descent into chaos here these no law, no society, no nothing. Although it might not expressly appear, she knows that the destruction was the fault of a natural disaster, all the more disturbing because it's uncontrollable and unstoppable.

PATRONUS: Falcon → superiority. focus. aspiration. intensity. determination. strategy. problem solving.
Regina is fully capable of summon a patronus, although she has never had cause to. The happy memory she uses is of her employment with the Ministry.

LIKES: Awkward Silences. Order. Law. The Ministry. Rainy Days. Early Morning. Bright Colors. Arts & Crafts. Tequila Shots. Verbal Confrontations.
DISLIKES: Mess. Disorder. Hot Weather. Rebels. Change. Animals. "Nature". Physical Confrontations.

STRENGTHS: Level Headed. Organized. P-P-P-P-PPoker Face. Ridiculously High Alcohol Tolerance. Photographic short term memory.
WEAKNESSES: Not Adaptable. Wandless Magic. Narrow Minded. Stubborn. Anything related to wild life. Limited physical endurance.

KNOWN INFORMATION: It's generally known that Regina Fenwick has been with the Ministry since her graduation from Hogwarts, first in the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee and currently in the Improper Use of Magic Office. She is a completely loyal and supportive part of the Ministry and people who work with her would know she has ambitions of high position within the system.

More or less nothing about her personal life is known by strangers, co-workers, or casual aquaintances. Some people may be aware that she is related to Benjy Fenwick, but Regina never talks about her brother (or anyone else in her family) to anyone except friends (and even then rarely) so even her family ties are not general knowledge. Very very close friends (Benjy, Kingsley, Elladora) would known that she's not as put together as she seems and also that she secretly drinks rather a lot, particularly when stressed. May or may not have a problem. The fact that she is a lesbian is TOP SEKRIT CONFIDENTION information that NO ONE knows, with the exception of the two or three equally closetted women whom she's had relations with.

DETAILED PERSONALITY: To say that Regina Persephone Fenwick lacks a sense of whimsy would be an understatement of epic proportions. Be not fooled by the brightly dressed vision of a young woman. Despite her penchant for mustard yellow pea coats, lime green patent leather pumps, or hot pink nail polish, a loose canon she most certainly is not. Quite the opposite. Indeed, no description could fully convey just how desperately important order is to Regina Fenwick. If she had to choose between order and water in the desert, she'd be choking down glasses of sand. If an option between chaos or never breathing again was presented...well, oxygen was a lovely thing while it lasted but, as they say, all good things must come to an end. If must be noted that order does not apply merely to aesthetics (although she does put great stock in aesthetic uniformity), but rather social order, political order, legal order--all are her life blood. She feels a deep seated need to function within a set of rules and regulations. Regina lives her live by the book and only by the book. Bending rules? Ha! No. Cutting corners? Unheard off. And loop holes had better be distinct and large (we're talking approximately black hole sized) if she's going to fit her values through them. Needless to say Regina is not the type to rage against the machine, rebel against The Man, or fight for her right to party. And she considers those who do to be little better than anarchists.

There have been some who have speculated that Regina is a victim of OCD. Never one to willingly acknowledge weaknesses, she dismisses such claims as hogwash and goes on being her obsessively uniform self. Of course she'd never say something as crass as 'that's hogwash'. Regina is not the type of person to fire off at the mouth. She thinks before she speaks, considers her words, and rarely does anything not deliberately chosen specifically for the occasion slip out. She prides herself on being precise, being to the point, and being clear besides. That being said, there is a vaaaast gap between what comes out of Regina's mouth and what goes on in her head. The unspoken sentiments that that unfailing filter holds back are, quite often, acerbic in the extreme. Regina has a wit like a diamond. But she feels there is a time and place for cracking jokes and that is...well...almost never. There are exceptions, of course. When she's around her brother, who has the capability to frustrate her to the point where she relaxes enough to be candid. Benjy, in general, has the capability to unlock typically unseen corners of Regina's strict personality. On the one hand, she is annoyed by her brother's mercurial and sometimes sophomoric personality. On the other hand, she also admires his capabilities and has a great deal of faith in him. But of course she could never tell him of the secret esteem she has and so instead she has a tendency to act quite superior and disapproving towards him in public, punctuating it with spoiled requests and candid brattiness at times in private. Such as the time she informed her brother that if he really truly cared about her he would bring her a cheeseburger (said exchange taking place at approximately 2 o'clock in the morning). These little tendencies reveal that underneath the layers of protocol and obedience and stoic patriotism, she is not as different from Benji as she might imagine herself to be.

Her relationship with her brother fairly accurately exemplifies her relationships with people whom she deeply cares for. Specifically, she had a tendency to bully them slightly in the open, while limiting her displays to the private sphere. Regina believes in strict separation of private and public and can be very clipped towards attempts to overlap the two. This stems from the fact that compartmentalization is the only way she knows off to deal with uncomfortable or messy situations and/or feelings. Quite frankly, while she is a (pardon the pun) wizard at preserving external order, she is an absolutely failure at internal coping. To much deviation from her comfort zone or major failure can send her all to pieces. Privately, of course, where no one will know. And she will remain in pieces until someone glues her back together again (typically her brother) at which point she'll emerge into the public again as bright and shiny and efficient as if she'd never fallen to bits at all. Needless to say when it comes to people close to her? She has few. Oh, Regina is a perfect acquaintance. She's extremely polite, very intelligent, and although she is no leader or bell of the ball she can carry a conversation perfectly well. But getting beyond the acquaintance layer is no easy task. Those who do make the perilous journey, however, will find that her friendship can be reward, if tiring. To become a close friend of Regina's is to pass over that mile wide barrier from public to private, thereby allowing her to slacken her guard. And unguarded Regina is very much a product of the eccentric Fenwick family.

History.
DIAMONDS ALL IN HER EAR LOBE,
CHECK OUT HOW THE STORY UNFOLDS.

CHILDHOOD: Regina Persephone Fenwick was hardly born in London, although any ill thought inquiries into her background would be met with a long, disbelieving stare at your stupidity. For Regina, her life started with London and will end with London. Or possibly with a seppuku while she's forced to play the role of Carmen Sandiego. She has already had more than her share of traveling, thank you very much. And thought she was young when the Fenwick family settled, she was still old enough to retain pieces of memories of the nomadic patterns of her early life. If you didn't know her brother, it would be hard to believe the story behind her parentage. Her father was a heir, a wizard, and descended from nobility. Upon triumphantly graduating from Hogwarts, he received a rather large inheritance. And then blew it all by taking off to follow after a band of gypsies. One of the gypsies in question was a self proclaimed seeress, who would soon produce two children; Benjamin Adonis and late Regina Persephone. Fifteen years into his not-so-survivalist Into the Wild, her father's limitless funds suddenly developed a bottom. No longer able to support the lifestyle of Bohemia, the Fenwick family settled in London.

For her part, Regina had never been a child who took to their former life. She'd been a difficult, finicky baby and an even more difficult toddler. Quite picky about...well everything, constant movement was not easy or a naturally persnickety three-year-old. A tiny Regina took to London like a fish to water. She liked having a house. She liked having things that didn't have easy mobility as a pre-requisite. And she absolutely adored the pre-school that her parents soon enrolled her in. Say what you like about Regina Fenwick, she was and still remains nothing if not consistent. Because of her somewhat strange upbringing, she was always careful to appear extra normal so as not to arouse suspicion about her eccentric origins. It didn't help that her brother seemed interested in being anything but discreet and so Regina worked particularly hard at being above reproach so that when anyone asked "Are you sure you're related to your brother?" they would believe her when she told them they'd found Benjy in cabbage patch.

HOGWARTS: Regina began Hogwarts when she was eleven years old. Her brother had been enrolled several years prior and she, fully aware her turn was coming, had been a long time prepared in advance. She already had her books purchased, leather covers, most recent editions, claimed ownership of a horned owl, since it made communication more practical then making use of a communal owlry, and she already knew what house she wanted to be sorted into, Ravenclaw. She told the hat as much, in fact, when she took the stool for her sorting and it, apparently, agreed with her.

That being said, it wasn't that Regina was a genius or naturally brilliant. Rather, one can not stress enough the amount of dedicated hard work and resolve which went into her academic success. She was always the first hand raised, the first to turn in assignments, and was very skilled at juggling multiple responsibilities when those encumbering end of term essays and exams started to pile up on top of each other. Regina did not feel the need to be the best and the brightest. In her fifth year she was made a prefect and, of course, she took the appointment quite naturally. She was, quite frankly, a paramount student. Diligent, responsible, academic, and always mindful o rules. If her professors had any complaints about her it was either remarking on how she seemed reluctant to take gambles or go outside the box. And if she were ever to be spoken to for any misdemeanor it was always and only related to violation of uniform, as even then she displayed her current penchant for particular dress.

When it came to the social side of school, Regina was not the hit that her brother was. Benjy was the original Fenwick production. For the most part she was The Other Fenwick or Benjy's Sister. Although there was several instances were she was forced to rebuttal with "My name is Regina" her lack of popularity didn't daunt her. That is, with the exception of the times when she was linked with some of her brother's more outrageous antics. During those times she was tempted to resort to her cabbage patch story again. Although she didn't dominate socially, when it came to responsibilities, Regina had a talent for shining to the point where she had to be noticed. Her years at the institution were spent in the way she did practically everything--buried to the ears with things to do. Regina remained generally as beyond reproach as she had been when she was attending muggle school. After all, she was the twelve year old who had mapped out her lie. And none of her dreams were anything so whimsical as rock store or ballerina or wiz cop. Nope. Little Regina declared that she wanted to work in the Ministry. And she kept this goal all throughout her Hogwarts career.

AFTER HOGWARTS: Regina finished at school and went to work in the Ministry, of course, originally employed as part of the Accidental Magical Reversal Squad. That same year, she moved out of the house that she'd shared with her parents and brother and into a flat of her own. All a part of her ten year plan which involved (a) getting a job in the Ministry (b) working her way into the upper, better paying ranks (c) saving her money regularly so that by the time she was twenty eight she'd be able to (d) put a down payment on a house of her own and then (e) live happily every after. The End. And anyone who knows Regina is aware that when she makes plans, it's law.

She remained a member of the Committee until she was twenty three. At that point she requested transfer to the Improper Use of Magic Office. In her opinion, it provided a useful administrative contrast to her the hands-on work she previously did in the Committee, allowed her to dabble in the very important legal side of the Ministry, and also permitted her to showcase her talent for clerical work and organization. All things that she considered necessary if she ever wanted to reach the top of the Ministry.

Just For Fun.
  YOU'RE IN VIP & SHE'S SCEAMIN UP A PLOT

FIVE THINGS (1) FAMILY GOOD TIMES. Duh. Jadis loves family good times. That should be obvious by now. I love Regina's seriousness contrasting with Benjy's outrageous. And then of course there's surrogate brother Kingsley who's all up in the middle ground. (2) I already have a character who's excited about epic quest for Horcruxes (Soleil) and one who's indifferent (Narcissa), so I though I needed one who was completely like FCK THIS SHIT DNW TO GO!! Which is Regina's sentiments in a nutshell. (3) Someone has to be around to try and keep the order and peace. Also to make sure everyone's now blowing up the wizarding world's spot with their shenanigans. And the Ministry heads need someone totally loyal to keep them in the loop. (4) She's going. To. Crack. Seriously. At some point in game all the mayhem and insanity and ridiculous and lack of structure and control is going to make her snap and she's going to have a mthr fckin fit and go right off the deep end. I. Am so. Excited for this. YDEK. (5) Secret loooooooooovas. Specifically secret lesbian lovers.

STRANDED Parchment and Quills; Regina might not go crazy without anyone to talk to, but she definitely will if she can't make her lists or plans or scribble down ideas. Also she finds origami relaxing. No, seriously. Construction Supplies; She WILL have her own house one day. Even if she has to make it herself, damn it. Bug Spray; because fck mosquitoes and all that crap. If she had to pick someone to be stranded with it would be her brother. SHOCKING, RIGHT!? She would also accept Kingsley. Cause who else would she freak out too about BEING STRANDED ON AN ISLAND! The island would be hell if it were inhabited by a totally lawless and wild people, who forced her to assimilate into their culture.
